Millican The Foundations

23 Sep The Foundations – A film by Millican

“Free I am as the buzzard mewing by day or the owl hooting by night – freedom is everything“
Millican Dalton (1867 – 1947)

Insist upon yourself.

In the early 1900s, outdoor pioneer Millican Dalton quit his conventional 9-5 routine in London to pursue a life in the open in Borrowdale Valley, in the English Lake District. He lived life in his own way, chasing romance and freedom from his cave on Castle Crag.

Millican Dalton chose experience over material gain and inspired Millican to do the same.

Millican is a small team, based on a farm in the English Lake District National Park and makes bags with a difference.

Millican made this film to share the story that changed their journey for good.
