Ever since our test of the Bellroy Elements Pocket, we have been thoroughly convinced of the exceptional quality and weatherproof protection of Bellroy outdoor products.

The new All-Conditions Collection will be replacing the Elements Collection, and a closer look shows us that it’s not just the name that‘s changed.

The All-Conditions series consists up of a Wallet, a Phone Pocket and an Essentials Pocket, and boasts a cool new design. There are four colour to choose from for the leather option, and two for the woven.

Seeing as we tested the wallet last time, this time we want to take a closer look at the Phone Pocket.

On the outside, the All-Conditions Phone Pocket boasts Bellroy’s typical slick design with rounded corners. The Pocket is finished in a premium vegetable-tanned leather, produced according to world-class environmental stewardship standards, and is sealed with a water-resistant zip from YKK with a rubber zip pull.

The design of the inside is similarly minimalist, kept to only the essentials. As the name suggests, the standard Phone Pocket offers enough space for an iPhone 6s (140 x 70 x 7mm) or another smartphone of similar size. The Plus version of the Phone Pocket offers a few more millimetres.

On one side are two pockets, one that extends along the whole inside surface and works well as a secret stash, and a second with a diagonal cut. The pockets are designed to hold up to 8 cards, folded bank notes and a handful of coins.

As with the Elements Pocket, you can’t take your Phone Pocket diving, but it will work for pretty much all other water sports and activities, where you want to be sure that your smartphone and money are protected from the elements and stay dry. And not only that, but it looks absolutely fantastic too.
