A success story: Around 1 million visitors in 50 years of IWA OutdoorClassics

In 1974, the national exhibition for the specialized firearms trade and gunsmith trade opened its doors for the first time in Nuremberg with almost 100 exhibitors. It owes its international name, IWA OutdoorClassics, to its rapidly growing importance beyond Germany’s borders and its multi-themed offering, which spans the spectrum from traditional craftsmanship to innovative ideas for hunting and sporting weapons, outdoor equipment, and security. In 2024, IWA OutdoorClassics celebrated its 50th anniversary.
